I've done this three panel strip with writer Martin Hayes hopefully to go on Warren Ellis' website. Still needs colouring and lettering.

Also with the same writer, I've come up with this cover idea for a comic series we're working on.

Hello everybody,

Hope you all has a good Christmas and New Year, mine was pretty hectic what with moving house on Christmas eve and all the things involved with that.

Now I'm glad to say I'm to the drawing board and have been knocking out pages foe Cancertown 2 and another project.

Today I started on the pencils for a picture for my own benefit, a drawing of Moon Knight, it needs tightening up and the background, which'll be a city sort of thing, needs to be drawn but I thought I'd post it up as a work in progress.

Here's a page for a short story I'm doing for Overload #1 . I think it's due out earlyish next year and is being put together by Martin Conaghan.

Its a really interesting project he's putting together and have no doubt it'll be very good indeed.

Well, I've been quite busy in the last week or so what with the childrens chistmas plays and the various projects I'm working on.

Also we're moving house just before christmas so it's all pretty manic at the mo.

Next week I start again on Cancertown 2 and I feel I've been away from the strange and scary world of Vince Morley for too long.

I'm also doing a six page short story for a project that's in the offing. It's a great story and am already half way through it

Oh and before I forget I'm also working with Steve Tanner again on a secret project that will be revealed in a short while.

In the meantime here's the last two pages I did for the Punisher story. I don't think anything will come of it but it was a real experience working with a proper Marvel script and hopefully I'll get some useful hints and tips!

Anyway enjoy the pics and I'll speak to you all again soon.

Hellooooooooo.

Been busy today with Punisher pages for my Marvel thing.

Well I've got one and half to do tomorrow and then I'll email them over. To be honest I'm not expecting anything from this but it's been fun to do and it's something to skick in my portfolio.

Anyway this is pages 3 and 5 so I've got pages 4 to start and I'm halfway though 6.

Once these are done I'm back on with Cancertown 2 for Markosia. Which I'm really looking forward to getting back to.

Anyway, as ever enjoy the pics and give me any comments you fancy.

Well today I've started on my Marvel test pages.

They've given me a Punisher script to do and so far I've done two pages. I still need to go back and tighten them up a bit but here's the progess so far.

Well I've finished the 2000AD submission and all that I need to do is get all the stuff off to them tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed.

I don't know if anything will come of it but I've really enjoyed drawing Dredd, he's such an institution a bit like Stilton.

Here's pages 2 3 and 4 of my 2000AD submission, I'm using the "Cycle of Violence" script. And so far I'm pretty happy with them although there's a few things I need to go back to.

Anyway once I'm done with this I'll get onto the Marvel sample pages I've got to do and inbetween all this I'll do some more Dick Turpin and Cancertown....

Was reading yesterday about an early victorian (1830s onwards) phenomenon called Spring Heeled Jack. He was a kind of demon/ apparition that jumped out on people around churchyards cemertries etc. I thought he seemed like an early british Batman/Daredevil. Anyway I thought I'd draw him. so here are the priliminary pencils.

While watching Battle Royal last night I did this pic of The Punisher. It's part of my monthly give away ie. I draw a pic put it up on Facebook and the first person to reply to the post gets the pic.

One of my favourite Marvel baddies has always been Electro. Don't know why but ever since I first saw him as a kid I always thought he was great.

Anyway I thought I'd give him my own twist...seeing as he was a Lineman I thought I'd give him a regular working Joe look. Having looked at your average lineman on the internet I have trouble imagining one dressing up in the regular Electro outfit. After all these are blue collar workers.

Crisis in East Africa

I'm really not one for banging on about "charidy" but having seen in the news the desperate state of people in the East of Africa I kind of get the feeling that maybe us comic folks are in a situation to help a bit. After all the majority of us have some sort of talent to write stories and draw pics.
As with The Spirit of Hope anthology published by the Comic Books Alliance for the earthquake victims of Japan and New Zealand matbe something could be done along the same lines.
Basically I just think it would be nice to do some stuff with the aim of helping someone else.
Anyway that's it I'm off to draw Vampires and Highwaymen.

This is a little project I'm working on for myself.
It's pretty self explaining really...A crucified Superman on a cross of Kryptonite.

I'm going to work this up with more photo reference and try and finish it all up as a big acrylic on canvas.
